tempura batik

This is my tempura batik painting. I finished pretty fast. Painting took my two class periods and then I inked it. I think it’s pretty cool how it all works and how it turns out after you wash it off. It was kinda messy but I was able to manage. The colors came out are little more faded then I wanted but I think it still came out pretty good.

Figure drawing

This was our figure drawing. I need more practice with this. It was fun drawing him and practicing shading and proportions. I still feel I need more work on this.

Harlem Renaissance

This was our Harlem renaissance project and I’d have to say it was interesting to see the different styles artist had in this period. It still reflected the same thing though. I enjoyed this project. I got to practice body proportions and painting skin tones.
