Extra credit

This is something I did for extra credit in my British literature class and it was by far the best. It was the first time painting on a canvas and I loved the experience. My teacher loved the painting and so did I. Hands are fun to paint and I absolutely love painting eyes so this combination was a delight.

I loved this piece. Having to do different color schemes for each section was interesting. Having to plan out the picture and then actually going in to paint. I love painting and this piece sang variety of bright colors. I got to do my favorite actress and I think it came out pretty good.

Grounds

I like how the background came out. I couldn’t figure out what else to do but I thought of a city and decided to paint buildings.

Goal

This was the goal setting piece. One of my goals was to get a chameleon and I did. This project took a lot of time to finish. The skin was done one by one and it took for every but I think it came out pretty okay. 

Backside of folder

This is the back side of my folder. I love this side more then the front. I enjoyed painting this. I’m enjoying painting faces more and experimenting with how shadows and highlights appear on the face.

Front side

This is the front cover of my folder. I loved doing it. It was used with acrylic paint.

Pallet knife

This was with the pallet knife. I did not like this project. It was uncontrolled and it came out bad. I couldn’t get the kind of detail I wanted and I couldn’t st smooth strokes.

Water color experiment

This was experimenting with water color and it was alright. I still rather use acrylic paint because it dries faster and I feel like I can control it more then this paint.

Shirt design

This is the sketch for the shirt design for the academy. I like
Drawing letters and I always do them this way so it was easy and enjoyable.

Human/animal transformation

This piece was kinda difficult took a lot of time. I didn't get to finish it but hopefully I will soon.

Final choice piece

This is my finished bird. I loved this project. I love detail and I got to explore that with this piece. It was a challenge but I enjoyed it very much.

I don't think I did too great on this piece. I should have had painted it better.

Challenge piece

Im not good at faces and so I thought I'd try it. I wanted to experiment with hair as well because that's kind of hard. I know I need more practice shading of the face so I'm hoping to do more pieces like this to improve in that area.

I really enjoyed this project. Drawing hands upclose is something that I actually like to draw. The reflection was a bit challenging but it was still a good experience in reflection drawing.

I want to be more positive towards things because I've learned it only makes things easier. Listen is because sometimes I need to learn to stop talking and listen to others more. That's the reason why I don't have a mouth on my face, to show my silence to become a better listener.
