Artist Statement

I love art with a passion. Its the only thing that really releases me from my stress or if I've had a bad day. I've always loved art, its aways been something I was good at. The fact that I can pour my heart and soul on to paper is the best feeling in the world. I want to be able to show the world my art. It's really the only way to know whats really on my mind.

 I'd say Jose Vergara is my favorite artist. He is a 19 year old realism artist. He has always loved to draw but one day he got in a accident and he almost lost his right hand. That didn't stop him though for his love for art was very strong. He choose to draw eyes because they were very detailed and he loves the challenge.He does all his pieces in colored pencil.

I love drawing eyes and so i got my brother to pose for me while i took his picture on the stool and so i drew him and then i thought of the palm trees later when i was down drawing and coloring him and the canvas.

I liked the selfie i took for this picture and i used it and then i just went with it putting the different techniques in different spots. I enjoyed it and satisfied with the outcome.

I had originally drawn this, although the one i originally drew was much better, anyways we did this outside so it was somewhat difficult for me to draw because i didn't have a table. I did enjoy doing this though. The heart was originally down because at the time i was going through something and drawing this helped me.

What inspired this was the love i have for converse. I though it would be neat to draw a close up of my shoe.

I like drawing things like this. It just flows and I enjoy drawing stuff tht gives a flowie vide, if you may. The different colors gives it more of a personality which I like.

So I couldn't really think of anything else to put on the other side of my portfolio and the I though I should just put my name and i filled it with music notes because I love music, piano especially, and I also like drawing flowers.
